She’s running Boston to give back to Beth Israel Lahey Health

As a Massachusetts native, I view the Boston Marathon as an iconic fixture in the region. Beth Israel Lahey Health is another, and I’m honored to be running this year’s race in support of their cause. Beth Israel Lahey Health is a beacon of hope for so many families in the Northeast—mine included. As we navigated the hardship of both of my grandparents’ battles with cancer, Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington created a supportive, compassionate environment that made all the difference in their care and our processing of illness and recovery.

I’m excited to take on this challenge for the first time—this year with the support of my employer, BOND Brothers, Inc. BOND is dedicated to building world-class care facilities, not unlike those within the BILH network, that continue to have lasting impacts on everyone who steps foot through their doors. Working specifically in the healthcare sector of BOND’s business has further informed my appreciation for healthcare professionals and my drive to help create the world-class facilities they utilize.

This race is about so much more than crossing the finish line. For me, it’s a chance to give back to the doctors, nurses, and staff who provide life-changing care to countless individuals each day.
