Art Warehouse to Be Transformed for ‘Nacho Libre’ Screening

Movie night is getting a lot more colorful this Cinco de Mayo thanks to the return of the Downtown Little Rock Partnership‘s 2025 Cinema Series.

On Monday, May 5, the Good Weather art gallery warehouse at 420 Byrd St. in East Village will be the location of a screening of the cult classic “Nacho Libre” starring Jack Black, as well as live wrestling from the local TAC Wrestling group.

Attendees can also get in on food trucks and margaritas to fuel the festivities.

“We’re taking movie nights to the next level with this action-packed indoor experience,” DLRP Executive Director Gabe Holmstrom says. “The combination of Nacho Libre’s laughs and real-life demonstrations from TAC Wrestling will create an unforgettable night of community fun.”

The series launched last year with all screenings taking place on the top floor of the parking deck at the corner of Sixth and Scott streets. No word yet on a 2025 lineup, though the DLRP notes this summer’s series will again “[bring] unique film experiences to unexpected downtown spaces.”

This event is free and open to the public with food and drinks available for purchase. The wrestling starts at 6 p.m., and the movie starts at 7:30 p.m.

Check out the Facebook event page for more information, and follow the DLRP on Facebook, X and Instagram for more neighborhood activities.
