Ayden Millette cruised to a 4.972-second victory Saturday night in Hampton on the longest race of Langley Speedway’s stock car racing card, a 50-lap Limited Late Model feature.
In a 14-driver race that took 16 minutes and 41-plus seconds, he beat Jacob Derrick for his first victory of the year, which will propel Millette into the season points lead.
Atley Wiese took third, 10.607 seconds behind Millette.
Modified: Rick Gdovic drove to a 50-lap victory, followed by Brad Adams and Spencer Conrad.
Gdovic became the third driver in as many races to win in a division that has included only seven competitors this year, six Saturday night.
Grand Stock: Paul Lubno posted a 40-lap victory that took just more than 12:48, beating Bill Eaker by 2.144 seconds. Nate Lundin was a distant third among six competitors, 14.907 seconds off the lead and the last driver on the lead lap.
It was Lubno’s second victory in three races this year.
Pro Six: Andrew Wroten took just more than 7 1/2 minutes to register a 25-lap triumph, beating Matt Dail by 2.625 seconds. Chris Bechtel was third in the field of six, 12.065 behind the leader.
Dail had won the division’s only previous race of 2025.
Super Street: Sammy Gaita captured his first victory of the year, edging Landon Abbott by 849-thousandths of a second in a race that took almost 18:09.
Joe Stuck took third place in the field of 11, 1.674 behind Gaita. Dale Nichols, who won the division’s first two races of 2025, did not enter.
UCAR: Thomas Fontaine overcame Brent Burgess by 0.625 of a second to prevail over 25 laps and just more than 24 minutes. It was Fontaine’s second victory in three races.
Jason Aukland placed third, 1.206 after Fontaine reached the checkered flag before 15 rivals.
