Overbrook takes down Southern in Jimmy V Classic – Boys basketball recap

Overbrook used a big second half to earn a 54-45 win over Southern during the Jimmy V Classic at Cherokee High School.

Southern (2-1) controlled the first half and was able to take a three-point lead into halftime.

Jake Sliwinski led the team with 16 points while Gavin Gerckens added 15.

Overbrook (3-0) took over in the second half, outscoring the Rams, 31-21.
