Grella leads the way as No. 16 Immaculate Heart bests Ridgewood – Girls Basketball

Samantha Grella scored 11 points and secured seven rebounds for Immaculate Heart, ranked No. 16 in the NJ.com Top 20, to pace her team in both categories in a 54-37 victory over Ridgewood in Ridgewood.

The teams played an evenly matched first quarter with 13 points apiece before Immaculate Heart took control to the tune of a 32-16 advantage across the second and third frames.

Kaylie FitzPatrick, Giuliana Huaranga and Addison Valdez chipped in with nine, eight and seven points respectively for Immaculate Heart (5-2).

Catie Klemm paced all players with a game-high 16-point performance for Ridgewood (4-2).
