All-American receiver Danny Scudero is coming to Boulder.
On Sunday morning, it was announced that the former San Jose State star, who is visiting the Colorado campus this week, verbally committed to the Buffs and head coach Deion Sanders.
Scudero led the nation with 1,291 receiving yards this season; was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, which goes to the top receiver in the country; and earned Associated Press second-team All-American honors.
He also earned AFCA, Walter Camp and CBS Sports second-team All-American honors, and he was first-team All-Mountain West Conference.
The 5-foot-9, 174-pound Scudero caught 88 passes this season, scoring 10 touchdowns and averaging 14.7 yards per catch for San Jose State. He had six 100-yard games, including 215 yards and two touchdowns on seven catches against Hawaii on Nov. 1.
Scudero, who has two years of eligibility remaining, began his college career at Sacramento State. He redshirted in 2023 and then caught 53 passes for 667 yards and five touchdowns for the Hornets in 2024.
CU has added five players in the transfer portal, including four that committed on Saturday night: receiver Kam Perry (Miami-Ohio), running back Damian Henderson II (Sacramento State), and defensive ends Lamont Lester Jr. (Monmouth) and Yamil Talib (Charlotte).
