Girls basketball
Hammond 59, Guilford Park 56: Eva Hardy scored a season-high 18 points in the win for the Golden Bears. For Hammond (3-4), Alexis Wright added 15 points and nine rebounds. For Guilford Park (3-5), Audrey Morrison-Lang finished with a season-high 39 points.
Boys basketball
Long Reach 62, Centennial 48: The Lightning (5-4) moved back over .500 with the win. Josh Hurd led the way with a double-double (23 points, 12 rebounds), while Daniel Best added 17. For Centennial (1-6), Ryan Doody had 17 points.
Oakland Mills 66, Catonsville 39: The Scorpions (8-0) continued to roll, already surpassing last season’s win total. Daniel Ndiritu scored a season-high 23 points, while Caleb Redd had a double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds). J.D. McCoy also chipped in 12 points, while Hayes Bishop was a force on the glass with 13 rebounds.
