If you head to the Oregon Convention Center this Sunday, you might spot Deadpool, Sailor Moon or a Stormtrooper waiting in line for a hotdog. FAN EXPO Portland is in town for its annual visit to the Rose City.
Thousands have attended the convention throughout the weekend dressed as characters from TV shows, movies, comic books and even cartoons you may remember from decades ago.
Staff from The Oregonian/OregonLive donned capes and cameras to capture some of the imaginative outfits.
Some wore wigs and boots, others were in full-on armor for the gathering where it’s socially acceptable, encouraged even, to carry around a lightsaber or a gigantic skunk head that’s also a purse.
It’s not too late to join in the fun.
