Middlesex County school districts have announced school closures and delayed openings for a second day on Tuesday following a nasty winter snow and ice storm.
Dangerously cold temperatures are expected overnight into Tuesday morning with below zero wind chills and temperatures in the single digits.
The National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory for most of New Jersey from 7 p.m. Monday through 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Thursday night is expected to be the coldest of the week, with wind chills potentially reaching minus 15 to minus 25 degrees.
