Who is the top N.J. freshman girls indoor field athlete? Our picks, your votes

The freshmen class has burst onto the scene in the 2025-26 season.

These runners have gotten better and better as the season has gone on. Many of the top freshmen in the state have put up impressive numbers through the relay championships and expect to make impacts as the postseason creeps closer.

And now we’re asking you, the fans, to help us pick the best runner in the class of 2029.

A note to voters:

  • The outcome of the voting will have no bearing on NJ.com postseason awards or All-State selections, which will made solely by indoor track writers Bakari Tice and Greg Patuto.
  • Voting ends on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at noon.
  • The finalists and the results of the poll are below the list of athletes. Times from the below athletes can be found on nj.milesplit.com.
