‘Conversation With Amanda Fortini’
“Baby Driver,” the autobiographical debut novel by the late Jan Kerouac, the only child of famed Beat Generation writer Jack Kerouac, has been rereleased by New York Review Books. Amanda Fortini, the Las Vegas-based writer who penned a new introduction for it, will discuss the book in a conversation with fellow author Tajja Isen. Spend the day with “Sátántangó,” which follows the members of a small agricultural collective as they set out to leave their village after a financial windfall. Batting first Friday night and running through the weekend, the Las Vegas Classic is an NCAA Division I baseball tournament held annually at Las Vegas Ballpark.
