The Spartans upset the Eagles of Kissimmee, Fla. in the National Association of Christian Athletes (NACA) championship tournament quarterfinals. Falcon Green led all scorers with 24 points. Kevin Bangura followed with 18 points, while Talon Wray and Caleb Fernandez combined for 26 points.

Manor 89, Warhill 45

Ca’Asia Brown scored 25 points and Jha’Ziya Babb finished with 23 points as the Mustangs returned to the court. Hampton hosts Manor on Thursday at 6 p.m. for the Class 4 Region A championship.

Cape Henry Collegiate 12, Croatan (N.C.) 7

Junior Colt Bradshaw went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double and six RBIs as the Dolphins won their season opener at Croatan High in Newport, N.C. Senior Noah Hummel pitched 3 2/3 innings and struck out five. Seniors Chris Martinez and Owen Hawley each tallied two hits, with Hawley also recording four RBIs.

Delaney McDonald led the Ambassadors with four goals. Elyse Letchworth added a brace, and Pilar Hernandez tallied one goal and three assists. Ali Jackson also scored once. Hunter Coleman, Hannah Key and Autumn Smith each contributed one assist.
