Strip magic mainstay Mat Franco has signed an extension through 2030 at his eponymous theater at The Linq Hotel.
“This show started as a dream,” Franco said in a statement. “Ten years later, it’s become my life’s work.”
Or, 15 years of life, which is how long Franco will have performed on the Strip by the end of this contract term.
Franco is forever the first magician to win “America’s Got Talent,” rising to fame in 2014. He debuted “Magic Reinvented Nightly” in August 2015.
The 37-year-old Franco’s family-friendly show scores for its consistently high quality. His success and congenial image have impressed Caesars Entertainment execs.
“We’re excited to extend our partnership through 2030 and deeply grateful for the joy he brings to our guests night after night,” Caesars Entertainment Vice President Amy Graca said in a statement.
In January, Franco graced the cover of Playgirl. That was an eye-opening move for a publication built on adult content but that has more recently move to interview-style coverage of newsmakers.
“I had a great time doing it. People have different sides to them, and that’s what keeps life interesting,” Franco said at the time. “It was fun, creative and a solid reminder that you don’t have to live in one lane.”
