Cantina Contramar, the long anticipated restaurant from chef Gabriela Cámara, celebrated its opening on Saturday in the Fontainebleau Las Vegas with a stylish crowd, passed bites, sipping tequila and cocktails, and Latin music. Cantina Contramar is an outpost of Contramar, the chef’s Mexico City flagship famed for its freshly caught seafood dishes and for being a 50 Best Discovery from World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Frida Escobedo, the Mexico City and New York City architect, designed the new restaurant. Bertha González Nieves, the first maestra tequileria and co-founder and CEO of Tequila Casa Dragones, helped design the beverage program at Cantina Contramar. Here are some party snaps.
