The Academy of Country Music Awards Week is turning up the volume, artist-wise, in its return to VegasVille.
Several performers have been booked for “ACM Lifting Lives Country on the Green: Riley Green & Friends” at Topgolf on May 15 and “ACM Next Wave: Country’s Beach Bash” at Mandalay Bay Beach on May 16.
The 61st ACM Awards show will stream live from MGM Grand Garden Arena at 5 p.m. Pacific time on Prime Video. Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson and Green are the first three headliners announced.
As made public Tuesday morning, Lauren Alaina, Rodney Atkins and Randy Houser will join “ACM Lifting Lives Country on the Green.” This is a rare live-music performance at Top Golf’s simulated tee blocks abutting MGM Grand.
At the “ACM Next Wave” beach festival, Ashley Cooke, Dasha, Flatland Cavalry, Braxton Keith and Tucker Wetmore are the newly announced performers. They join previously announced members of the Opry NextStage Class of 2026 Willow Avalon, Graham Barham, Tyler Braden, Alexandra Kay, Vincent Mason, Emily Ann Roberts and Hudson Westbrook.
General-admission tickets and VIP packages are available at AXS.com. Additional ACM Awards and ACM Awards Week performers, as well as nominations, presenters, and the host, will be announced in the coming weeks.
The American Music Awards show will take place at the Grand Garden Arena on May 25. Both shows are produced by Dick Clark Productions.
‘Viva’ revisited
There is never a bad time to load up “Viva Las Vegas” in this city. The Beverly Theater presents the 1965 classic in its upcoming “Showchella” series running Wednesday through April 28. “Pitch Perfect” is the opener and is screening Saturday as well. “Wild Style” is on Thursday and Saturday.
The Beverly is also staging “Remembering Rob Reiner” in April, with “Stand By Me” on Sunday and Monday leading the four-film series. The full lineup is at thebeverlytheater.com.
