Johnny Laurick starred both ways for Camden Tech on Friday, tossing a two-hit shutout on the mound while smacking a double and recording two RBI at the plate in a 13-0 victory in five innings over Salem in Salem.
Laurick struck out seven Salem batters while walking one. The majority of Camden Tech’s offense came by hanging a pair of crooked numbers, plating six runs in the top of the third inning and five runs in the fourth.
Six different batters recorded multiple hits for Camden Tech including Brayden Falcone, who hit a triple, drove in two runs and came around to score three times in a 2-for-4 showing. Matthew DeCicco went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a pair of runs scored for Camden Tech (5-2).
Cameron Robinson went 1-for-2 for Salem (3-4).
