HOCKEY
After a five-day break, the Norfolk Admirals will resume their best-of-7 North Division semifinal series against the Wheeling Nailers with Game 3 on Wednesday night. Opening faceoff is 7:10 p.m. at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia, where the rest of the series will be played.
The Admirals have a 2-0 series lead with back-to-back 4-0 victories behind Thomas Milic’s strong goaltending.
On Tuesday, Norfolk bolstered its goalie depth by reassigning Domenic DiVincentiis from the Manitoba Moose to the Admirals. The 21-year-old Ontario native played in 28 games with Manitoba this season and went 13-12-3 with a 2.84 goals-against average. In 20 games with the Admirals this season, he went 15-5 with a 2.97 GAA.

NSU picks up two players
Norfolk State has landed a signee and a commitment out of the transfer portal this week.
Head coach Robert Jones announced Tuesday the signing of former Texas A&M Corpus-Christi guard Dian Wright-Forde, a 6-3 senior from Bay Shore, New York.
Also on Tuesday, former UNC Wilmington guard Elijah Jamison committed to the Spartans, he announced on X.
Wright-Forde averaged 10.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game during his junior season at Texas A&M Corpus-Christi.
Jamison, a 6-3 Louisburg, North Carolina, native, averaged 9 points a game and shot 50% from 3-point range. He played in only four games, though, and averaged 15 minutes a game.
Ex-NSU player commits to Charlotte
Kuluel Mading, who made the All-MEAC Defensive Team for Norfolk State’s league championship team, committed to transfer to Charlotte.
The 6-foot-11 forward started 28 games in 2024-25, averaging 7.2 points on 60% field-goal shooting, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.
W&M gets transfer, loses Dorsey
After announcing the addition of three players on Monday, William & Mary basketball coach Brian Earl picked up another player from the portal Tuesday.
Graduate transfer forward Cade Haskins will join the Tribe after spending the past three seasons at Dartmouth. The 6-6, 220-pound Minneapolis native averaged 9.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists last season.
He was one of the top 3-point shooters in the Ivy League, connecting at 36.6%.
Meanwhile, guard Gabe Dorsey has entered the transfer portal, according to @VerbalCommits on X. The 6-6, 215-pounder from Westminster, Maryland, led the Tribe with 13.4 points and 3-point shooting percentage (44.8%) and added 3.4 rebounds a game last season.
- Georgetown guard and former King’s Fork High star Jayden Epps has entered the transfer portal. Epps, who also played at Granby High, averaged 12.8 points this past season and 18.5 points in 2023-24. He played his freshman season at Illinois.
- Virginia Tech forward Ben Burnham has entered the transfer portal. He averaged 7.5 points and 3.9 rebounds this past season.

W&M places sixth at CAA Tournament
The William & Mary men’s golf team finished sixth out of nine teams at the CAA Men’s Golf Championship in Cape May Court House, New Jersey.
Logan Hunter led the Tribe by tying for 14th at 7 over par.
- Old Dominion’s men are tied for 12th place out of 14 teams after two rounds of the Sun Belt Golf Championship in Madison, Mississippi. The Monarchs’ Jakob Chicoyne is tied for ninth individually at 2 over par.
COLLEGE SOFTBALL
HU settles for split
Carmynn Bonner went 3 for 5 with a homer and three RBIs and Meagan Ramos had four hits and two RBIs as Hampton (14-29) defeated Maryland Eastern Shore 8-4 in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday in Princess Anne, Maryland. The Hawks won the second game 3-1.
