Former Seahawks star Marshawn Lynch part of broadcast for 49ers game

If you enjoyed Marshawn Lynch’s first appearance on The ManningCast a few years ago you’re in luck.

The former Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch will appear on the show again Saturday during the second half of tonight’s Seahawks-49ers game.

Lynch played what was the final season of his NFL career with Seattle at the tail end of the 2019 season, which included the memorable division-deciding game against the 49ers at Lumen Field, a scenario similar to this year’s.

Since again officially retiring following that season Lynch has pursued a handful of TV and other media opportunities, including appearing on other Omaha Productions with Peyton Manning, who with his brother, Eli, hosts the ManningCast. The show began in 2020 as an alternate broadcast of Monday Night games (which today’s game falls under) in which the Manning brothers talk about the game and host guests each quarter.

Lynch also appeared on the halftime show of Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime when the Seahawks hosted the Rams last month and also spent a preseason game in Seattle on the field working as a photographer.
