Jordanna Tarentino posted 28 points to lead fifth-seeded Johnson to a 75-41 win over 12th-seeded Brearley in the Union County Tournament’s first round in Clark.
Johnson (18-2) will face fourth-seeded Plainfield in the quarterfinals on Saturday at Johnson.
Alisia Hamm added 24 points to the win while Julia Lettini scored 13 points.
Georgia Sode posted 25 points an 11 rebounds for Brearley (13-4).
