Colts Neck tops Middletown South in Shore Conference Tournament – Girls basketball recap

Allison McAndrew scored 10 points as fifth-seeded Colts Neck defeated 12th-seeded Middletown South, 35-24, in the second round of the Shore Conference Tournament in Colts Neck.

Gabriella Bryce had eight points for Colts Neck (18-4), which used a 14-3 second quarter run to take a 15-point lead into halftime. Mattilyn Caffiero and Julianna Jasina added six apiece.

Colts Neck plays fourth-seeded Rumson-Fair Haven in the quarterfinals on Saturday in Holmdel.

For Middletown South (13-11), Megan Moller scored 10 points and Madison Lane pulled down 10 rebounds.
