Metallica’s Sphere residency has generated “unbelievable demand.” Inevitably, dates have been added.
A total of six shows, running Oct. 8, Oct. 10, Nov. 5, Nov. 11, Jan. 28 and Jan. 30 have been announced in the “Life Burns Faster” production. The January dates are the band’s first of 2027. Presales begin 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ticketmaster.com or Metallica.com.
Announced on Metallica’s social media, the new dates bring the Sphere total to 14, with the previously announced run of Oct. 1 and Oct. 3, Oct. 15 and Oct. 17, Oct. 22 and Oct. 24, and Oct. 29 and Oct 31.
The band’s series follows the “No Repeat Weekend” format, with no songs repeated on either Thursday or Saturday throughout the run.
