Portland Panorama is one of the premier Portland film festivals— in 2026, it will be held April 9–19, with screenings all across the city. The festival celebrates both international and Pacific Northwest filmmakers; in addition to screenings of feature-length films, you’ll also enjoy shorts and VR works. Other events include parties, Q&As, panels, live music, a happy hour and more.
This year’s exciting offerings include “post-Sundance premieres, a cult-favorite debut shot on Super 16mm, Pacific Northwest dramas and music videos, and filmmakers traveling from around the world to be in the room with their audiences.”

About the Festival

The festival will open with a screening of “Abril,” a Costa Rican drama from celebrated writer and director Hernán Jiménez. Other noteworthy films include “Barbara Forever,” fresh off its Sundance Film Festival premiere; “Paradise Records,” a standout from the Tribeca Film Festival; and “James Beard: America’s First Foodie,” a Portland-centric profile of the beloved chef and author.
Screenings will be held at top Portland theaters, including Cinema 21, Clinton Street Theater, Hollywood Theatre, McMenamins Kennedy School and Open Signal.
