Joyce Lynn Halliburton
PORTLAND – Joyce Lynn (Birkemose) Halliburton, 72, passed away March 17, 2026. She was born on Jan. 7, 1954, in Eastport, Maine, the daughter of Robert John Birkemose and Joan Bernice Hooper. She was an incredible mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend.
She grew up in Saco, Maine and graduated from Thornton Academy in 1972 and Holy Yoke Community College in Massachusetts in 1978. She lived so many lives as a Psychic, tarot reader, numerologist, hairdresser, seamstress and so much more. She was a kind, caring, compassionate, beautiful spiritual soul, as well as extremely crafty and an amazing cook and a lover of all animals, especially cats.
She is survived by her daughter, Alyson Halliburton; and granddaughter, Kaylie Rousseau of Windham; her son, Ryan Halliburton of Westbrook; her brother, Kevin Birkemose of Lyman, her sister, Lori of Portland; as well as nieces and nephews and many other loved ones and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
