Jay and Silent Bob ‘Save Vegas’ bringing actor-comedians back to Strip | Attractions

Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, known professionally as Jay and Silent Bob, are bringing their show to Las Vegas in October.

The pair of comedians and director-actor-writers will play the Palazzo Theater inside The Venetian on at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 16.

Mewes and Smith have played the pair of stoners for more than 30 years, beginning with “Clerks” (1994) in Smith’s View Askewniverse. “Mallrats” (1995), “Chasing Amy” (1997) and “Dogma” (1999) followed before their own film, “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” (2001). They’ve since enjoyed other appearances together and a long-lasting cult following.

In this show, titled “Jay and Silent Bob Save Vegas!” the pair play themselves, “using their mouths on you for money, telling tales about making movies, marrying above their stations, and being Dads — all while struggling to maintain their dwindling pop cultural relevance.”

Tickets start at $39 on ticketmaster.com beginning Friday.
