Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to multiple injuries suffered on Oahu roadways Monday — from Maili to Kaimuki.
EMS treated patients on an e-bike, a moped, and vehicles involved in collisions throughout the island on Monday, sending patients to the hospital in stable to serious condition.
>> At about 11 a.m., EMS responded to Maipaloa Road and Farrington Highway to treat a man in his 30s involved in a collision between an SUV and pumper truck. The man was taken to an emergency room in stable condition.
>> At 12:35 p.m., EMS responded to a T-Bone collision at 3105 Waialae Ave. in Kaimuki. Paramedics treated and transported a woman in her 40s to the emergency room in serious condition.
>> At about 12:45 p.m., EMS responded to an e-bicyclist who had collided into a car at South King and Piikoi streets. The man, estimated to be 19 years old, was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to the emergency room in serious condition.
>> At 1:40 p.m., EMS responded to a moped rider who had apparently lost control and hit a guardrail on Kaukonahua Road. The moped rider, estimated to be 22 years old, was wearing a helmet, but suffered multiple injuries. Paramedics took him to the emergency room in serious condition.
