Last chance to see BTS experience on Las Vegas Strip is this week

The groovy BTS thing on the Strip is closing.

Arte Museum’s BTS “The City” takeover ends Wednesday. The immersive museum at 63 CityCenter on the Strip presents visual installation and tracks from BTS’ latest album, “Arirang.”

Tickets are sold every half hour from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; go to lasvegas.artemuseum.com for intel. Arte Museum returns to its usual experiences on Thursday.

Included is the space Arirang Garden, which transforms into a multisensory space featuring five media arts pieces inspired by the new album. The “No. 29” installation projects moving silhouettes of the seven BTS members against minimalist digital backdrops, paired with the chimes of sacred Korean bells.

The Arirang Wave, a BTS-customized variation of The Wave, exhibits a video of towering waves at Coex K-Pop Square in Seoul in 2020.

Sean Lee, CEO of d’strict, which operates the venue, says 5,000 fans visited the exhibition daily in its first two weeks after opening on May 20. He said the enthusiasm sparked by the attraction “has been extraordinary and far beyond our expectations.”

BTS, in person, is back for the iHeartRadio Music Festival at T-Mobile Arena on Sept. 18 and 19.
