Uncle Lou’s closes this weekend, but you have a few more chances to make your pilgrimage

Though Uncle Lou himself is still being held by ICE, Uncle Lou’s Entertainment Hall has, against all odds, been open for the last couple of weeks. Now even that is coming to an end on this weekend.

This week marks the final nights that Lou’s LMGA on Mills Avenue will be open, on evenings from Wednesday through Saturday, June 24-27. And true to form, there will be several chances to see some live music and sing some karaoke.

Shows are free and feature familiar faces from past shows at Lou’s; but you should buy drinks and tip the staff very well.

8 p.m. Wednesday, June 24
Warm Frames, S.M.O.P., Future Bartenderz, DJ Machine Gun Kristin

Thursday, June 25
Robby Shambles and more

7 p.m. Friday, June 26
Confessed Lover, Flora, Belle, Adam Goldman, Mitar, Dr. Worries

Saturday, June 27 will be the last night the bar is open, though there are no bands currently scheduled.

Beer specials will be on offer every night (they’re looking to clear out inventory). Karaoke starts on show nights at 11 p.m. after the live music ends; it starts earlier in the evening on non-show nights. Say your goodbyes to an Orlando institution.
