Sphere’s beloved noisemakers are ushering in 2027.
The Backstreet Boys are playing New Year’s Eve weekend at the Bulbous Wonder. Show dates are Dec. 31 and Jan. 1-2. Tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster.com at 10 a.m. PT on Aug. 21.
BSB also played NYE last December. The added shows bring the famed boy band’s total at Sphere to 60. The “Into The Millennium” series opened in July 2025.
The Eagles still set the pace at the venue with 72. The best-selling American band added four shows in January to boost that record-setting total.
Recently, BSB has released the single “Bottle Up” for the new “Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie.” AJ McLean, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell are shown in famous groove alongside pups Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rubble, Rocky and Rex on an island laden with dinosaurs.
Richardson and Snoop Dogg were the focus of a comical moment at the film’s premiere on Aug. 2. Snoop voices the character Dave. In a subplot that has played out for years on social media, the two artists share a remarkable resemblance (and both are 54). But they had never met until the film’s red-carpet event.
The Backstreet Boys IG page shared photos of the two hugging, with the post, “It finally happened… iykyk.” Brian Littrell’s son, Baylee, commented that he’s been “waiting for this moment my whole life.”
