Mat Franco is a fan of “Cobra Kai” on Netflix. As such, he approaches his career with the same dedication and passion as lead character Daniel Russo.
While not quite adopting the “wax on, wax off” training routine (or the performance attire), Franco is filming his first special for the streaming platform in October. Show times at Mat Franco Theater at Linq Hotel are 7 p.m. Oct. 5 and Oct. 6, with a 9:30 p.m. performance the second night.

In March, the 38-year-old magician added five years to his headlining contract with Caesars Entertainment.
Franco has headlined at the Linq for more than a decade, surpassing 3,000 performances since kicking off his residency in 2015. A year earlier, Franco was the first magician to ever win “America’s Got Talent.”
The Linq mainstay has also announced he is teaming with Fantasy Claw Arcade at Fashion Show mall in a cross-promotional campaign. Those who visit the attraction have the chance to grab (as it were) Franco merchandise, tickets and VIP experiences.
The company is expanding its skill-based games beyond Area15 and Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
