A 16-year-old female was seriously hurt after she apparently lost control of her vehicle and collided into a tree. The accident occurred at about 5:50 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Ala Moana Boulevard and Piikoi Street.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services administered life support and transferred her to an emergency room.
