Marathon Burger, the wagyu smashburger spot that celebrates the legacy, entrepreneurial drive and community spirit of Nipsey Hussle, the late Grammy Award-winning activist and rapper, is coming to Las Vegas, according to Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, Hussle’s brother.
“Vegas has always been aspirational. The Strip, the lights, just being able to have a Marathon Burger there. This one is going to be our first Marathon Burger with a drive-thru,” Asghedom said in an Instagram video, posted Sunday, of his appearance on the “Brown Bag Mornings” radio show on Power 106 FM in Los Angeles.
Neon has reached out to the restaurant for comment on the Vegas store.
Asghedom opened the first Marathon Burger in Los Angeles in March 2025 to fulfill the brothers’ childhood dream of owning a restaurant. Today, the restaurant, an extension of Hussle’s Marathon brand, has three locations and a mobile food trailer across Greater L.A. Visit marathonburger.com.
