Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Miliana Sylvester was a the net against Loyola Marymount Lions Ayanna Henry during an NCAA Women’s volleyball match at the SoFi Stan Sheriff Center on Friday.
Hawaii senior Panna Ratkai put down a match-high 21 kills with 10 digs and was clutch in the fifth set of a 25-10, 25-18, 22-25, 26-28, 15-11 win over Loyola Marymount in the Outrigger Invitational tonight at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
A crowd of 3,463 watched Ratkai record four kills and two aces early in the fifth set to prompt the Lions to call timeout trailing 8-3.
Ratkai added a fifth kill before LMU closed to 14-11, prompting UH (3-2) to call timeout. LMU then served into the net after the break to suffer its first loss of the season and drop to 4-1.
Victoria Leyva tied a career high with 29 digs and UH setter Adrianna Arquette finished with 45 assists and 10 digs.
Miliana Sylvester had 13 kills and three blocks and Rachel Purser had 10 kills in 18 swings without an error.
Kahea Moriwaki added a career-high 15 digs.

Hawaii will finish out the tournament on Sunday against UC San Diego (2-3) at 5 p.m.
