Inspired by the rich, creamy egg sandwiches sold in Japan, 7-Eleven Hawaii (multiple locations) recently released its own version of the popular snack. It features a rich egg salad filling layered between two slices of crustless shokupan bread.
“7-Eleven Japan is known for elevating everyday convenience-store foods, and we are excited to bring our own locally made take on its beloved egg salad sandwich to customers,” states 7-Eleven Hawaii president and CEO, Greg Hanna. “By pairing the Japanese-inspired recipe with shokupan bread baked here in Hawaii, we created something that reflects both our Japanese roots and our connection to the local community.”
The sandwich is the latest addition to 7-Eleven Hawaii’s fresh, ready-to-eat food offerings that are perfect for breakfast, a quick lunch or snack on the go. They’re available while supplies last.
