A former Bridgton police officer and Cumberland County sheriff’s deputy was arrested Friday for alleged misconduct in his duties as a polygraph examiner.
Regan Goan, 51, of Raymond, has been charged with unsworn falsification and violating the Maine Polygraph Examiners Act, along with multiple counts of tampering with public records or information, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. They are all misdemeanor crimes.
Goan was booked at the Cumberland County Jail and has since been released on bail, pending an arraignment next month, the sheriff’s office said.
