Roger Waters’ Pink Floyd ‘Legacy’ show to play Las Vegas

Pink Floyd has been held up as a prime production to play Sphere. A Pink Floyd show will play Las Vegas next year, but off the Strip and in “legacy” form.

“Roger Waters Presents Legacy — A Pink Floyd Show” will visit The Pearl at the Palms on Sept. 16. The production is created by and under the direction of band co-founder Roger Waters, who is not himself part of the show. The show’s 10-piece band is led by Waters’ son, pianist and composer Harry Waters (tickets are on sale 10 a.m. Friday at AXS.com).

“Legacy” takes on Pink Floyd’s commercial peak from 1971 to 1979. The set list features groundbreaking selections from “The Dark Side of the Moon,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Animals” and “The Wall.

The show features a high-definition LED screen retrospective, with original imagery and visuals shaped by Roger Waters and his creative team. The international tour launches in February, playing more than 100 cities in North America and Europe.
