A car crashed into an Orlando-area daycare on Thursday afternoon, injuring three children and two adults, Orange County officials confirmed.

The crash happened at Tattle Tales Learning Center, located at 1211 N. Pine Hills Road, before 3 p.m. Thursday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol, as reported by the Orlando Sentinel.

According to Orange County’s investigation, a 73-year-old man driving a 2003 Honda CRV drove off the road and into the building until the vehicle was fully inside.

The driver and an adult who was injured in the daycare facility were both taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. The three injured children were taken to Orlando Health Children’s Arnold Palmer Hospital, Orlando Sentinel reports. All three children sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

After the incident, Orange County Division of Building Safety inspector determined the building cannot be occupied until damage has been repaired and required permits have been issued.

We will update this developing story as more information becomes available.
