Las Vegas pools offer free entry, other perks for locals | Attractions

Newer Las Vegans will never understand the sometimes elaborate methods locals once had to employ to sneak into hotel swimming pools.

These days, resorts are not only admitting locals, they’re welcoming them in with open arms — and, in many cases, free admission.

Here’s a look at some of the perks the valley’s hotel pools are offering Southern Nevadans this summer:

This includes the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis at Caesars Palace, Pool à Paris at Paris Las Vegas, Go Pool and Family Pool at the Flamingo, The Scene Pool Deck at Planet Hollywood, Influence at The Linq, The Pool at Harrah’s and Blu Pool at the Horseshoe.

As part of its Locals Only program, the Fontainebleau Las Vegas is offering free entry to LIV Beach on Fridays and Sundays, as well as $25 day passes and $200 daybeds Mondays through Thursdays at Oasis Pool. Locals also will receive 20 percent off dining at the poolside La Côte.

In addition to free admission, Palms Pool is giving locals free cabanas Sundays through Fridays.

Locals can rent cabanas and daybeds starting at $75, with no entry fee or food and beverage minimum, Sundays through Thursdays at The Pool at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Day passes start at $20. Kassi Beach Club, meanwhile, is offering free entry.
