Cava, the popular build-your-own health bowl chain, may soon expand to Las Vegas.
Officially, the company says it has nothing to “share publicly at this time.” A company representative pointed to cava.com for the latest information about openings.
That said, content creators on platforms like TikTok and Instagram have pointed to Kite Realty, the developer of the Centennial Gateway shopping center in northwest Las Vegas.
There, Cava is listed in the former SmashBurger space, across the parking lot from Trader Joe’s.
A commercial building permit was issued by the city of Las Vegas on April 23 for Cava at 5655 Centennial Center Blvd., Suite 170 — the same space. Talk of a Cava expansion to that area has gone on for months, including speculation on Reddit as far back as September 2025.
Neon has reached out to Kite Realty for additional comment and will share more when Cava makes an official announcement.
There are 439 Cava locations in the U.S. The company, stylized as CAVA, is known for its Mediterranean fast food, featuring chicken, steak, falafel, lamb and salmon bowls. In 2025, the company reported $1.2 billion in revenue.
Cava got its start as Cava Mezze in 2006 in Rockville, Maryland, and is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
