Two people were in serious condition after a two-vehicle collision in Makakilo this morning, according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services.
EMS responded to the intersection of Makakilo Drive and Kinohi Place at 10:30 a.m., treating two patients and evaluating three others.
EMS said one of the vehicles also struck a tree.
Paramedics took a man in his 60s and a woman in her 40s to an emergency room in serious condition. The three other patients declined transport to a hospital, EMS said.
