A 14-year-old boy was charged today with four counts of robbery in the first degree in Family Court in connection with an alleged robbery at a Mililani home Thursday night.
The case was conferred with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.
In addition, petitions were filed charging the 15-year-old and 17-year-old male suspects with theft in the fourth degree.
A 21-year-old man previously arrested for murder in the second degree of a 19-year-old man during that alleged robbery was determined by Honolulu Police Department detectives on Saturday to have acted in self-defense.
The case was conferred with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney, and murder charges were declined.
Detectives from the Homicide and Strategic Enforcement Detail initially determined that the victim and another 21-year-old man approached a group of individuals gathered in the open garage of a residence where a social dice gambling event was taking place.

The victim, while threatening those present with a firearm, demanded money and property, according to the Honolulu Police Department. The second man also demanded property.
Further investigation revealed that three juvenile males, ages 14, 15, and 17, were additional participants in the robbery that preceded the shooting. Following the shooting, the three juveniles reportedly took property that had been stolen during the robbery.
The case involving the 21-year-old man who participated in the robbery was conferred with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney. Four counts of robbery in the first degree were accepted, and his bail was set at $250,000.
