A motorcyclist is in serious condition after colliding with a semi-truck in Pearl City on Sunday night, according to first responders.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene at Kamehameha Highway near Waihona Street at about 7:20 p.m. Sunday.
Paramedics treated a male motorcyclist, estimated to be 25 years old, who had apparently collided with a semi-truck for serious injuries, including burns, after the motorcycle caught fire. He was wearing a helmet.
He was taken to an emergency room in serious condition.
