Vanderpump trains cameras on Caesars officials in new show

When you are in partnership with Lisa Vanderpump, you are “in play” to appear on a reality show.

This is true of Caesars Entertainment executives. The suited officials are in the cast of “Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas.”

The three-episode series follows Vanderpump as she opens Vanderpump Hotel. A premiere date is to be announced. Filming ended at Thursday’s grand-opening party. This means Vanderpump’s visit to Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Sunday will not be in the series.

Vanderpump said in a phone chat Friday that her business partners are about to be reality-show famous.

“They are very much in it,” Vanderpump said. “It’s as if I’m talking to them about what we need, what we want, what our vision is, and their dream. Of course, we had to be done efficiently, and this was while the casino was open. But so far we’re getting five-star reviews at the hotel, so I’m really happy.”

Such Vanderpump Hotel operators as Giada De Laurentiis, who continues to run her namesake, upstairs restaurant, and Drai’s Nightclub, from nightlife vets Victor and Dustin Drai, are not in the series.

“It’s more of a personal story with the opening, and honestly, we’ve got so much content just in terms of building the hotel out, which was a lot of fun to see,” Vanderpump said. “We have flashbacks with emotional content. We’ve been filming that for months, but people watching will be aware of everybody in the hotel.”
