A 40-year-old woman suffered serious injuries Sunday afternoon after the boat she was on apparently capsized off east Oahu, according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services.
At about 4:35 p.m., EMS personnel responded to the area near 5661 Kalanianaole Highway, where they met the injured patient. The woman was treated at the scene before being transported in serious condition to an emergency room for further treatment.
