Regrettably, leading Orlando shoegaze band Saucers Over Washington are leaving town for Oregon. But, luckily, not without one last blast first. The supporting send-off committee will be a strong local cavalcade including indie-pop notables Please Be Kind, space rockers Dayspells, and emo bands Monaco Honey and Anchor.

Apropos to Saucers’ cosmic obsession, this farewell scene will be decked out in all their own alien and UFO paraphernalia, including a handy guide of research resources on the phenomenon that they’ve put together themselves. Out there? No, the truth is in here, and it’s that Saucers Over Washington helped usher in the Orlando neo-shoegaze generation that’s currently in full bloom. So, gaze heads and true believers alike, come for one last close encounter with a proud product of the Orlando indie scene.

7 p.m. Friday, June 19, Will’s Pub, willspub.org,$15.
