Team USA returns to the pitch at noon Friday to take on Australia.
You could watch the World Cup match at home — or try to steal glances at it on your phone or computer at work. But if you want to go all out in full-on patriotic fervor, Las Vegas has that handled.
— The Fremont Street Experience will kick things off with a Team USA pep rally at 9 a.m. Friday at the Main Street Stage. The free event will include giveaways, USA-themed music, face painting, temporary tattoos, a custom hat patch station and photo opportunities with a cutout of U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Tyler Adams.
— At 10 a.m., soccer fans can meet former AFC Bournemouth forward Steve Fletcher at Circa’s Overhang Bar.
— Continuing the downtown theme, Circa’s Stadium Swim will host a watch party for the noon match. The first 100 guests in line to mention AFC Bournemouth will receive a limited-edition jersey inspired by Tyler Adams. Other giveaways will include sunglasses and rally towels. Admission starts at $46.
— A Jim Beam pop-up activation featuring whiskey lemonades and red-white-and-blue popsicles will be part of the watch party at Oasis Pool at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Admission is $25.
— The watch party at Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay will include live music from DJs Freddy B and Sincere. General admission is free.
— The Las Vegas Lights will host a watch party at PKWY Tavern, 4930 W. Flamingo Road. Look for appearances by Lights players and mascot Viva, raffles and drink specials.
— Las Vegas Brewing Company locations at 3101 N. Tenaya Way and 1226 S. 3rd St. will offer select beers for $1 for 15 minutes after every Team USA goal.
