18 spots for budget-friendly dining deals in Vegas

In any season, people love a dining deal. As summer opens, here are some food and drink offerings in Las Vegas that go easy on the wallet. They range from beer, wine and cocktail specials to sushi rolls, flatbread and other shareable items to street tacos and classic combos like a burger and a beer.

Off the Strip

Bel-Aire Lounge, in Durango, is offering $5 cocktails (dirty martini, lemon drop, espresso martini, cosmopolitan, spicy jalapeño), from 4 p.m. to midnight Mondays.

Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca, in Green Valley Ranch Resort, serves up $8 Italian-inspired bites such as Caprese or Caesar salads, crisp zucchini chips, meatballs and wood-fire pizzette, along with $9 wines and $9 Aperol spritzes, Bellinis and well drinks, from 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Charter 75, in the Gold Coast, is offering a burger and 16-ounce domestic beer for $13.99, from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, through summer.

Coronado Café, in the South Point, has seven late-night specials, including a half-pound burger and fries for $5.45 and a 7-ounce New York steak, two eggs, hash browns and toast for $6.95, from midnight to 6 a.m. daily for 21 and older.

Eureka, in El Cortez, is offering $4 beers, $11 beer and shot combos, $8.75 cocktails, $4 fish or blackened shrimp tacos, $4.75 truffle cheese fries and $9 Korean beef frachos, from 3 to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to midnight Mondays through Fridays.

Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar, in Red Rock Resort, has $9 roasted garlic hummus with naan, crisp cauliflower with Thai sweet chili glaze, apple and quinoa salad, meatballs, and oysters by the half-dozen, along with $8 draft beer, draft wine and well cocktails, from 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

Kaia, in Area15, is celebrating its third anniversary with a prix fixe menu (Japanese Caesar salad, nigiri, sushi roll, sauces, mochi dessert), for $30, for lunch and dinner daily through June.

Lanai Express, in the Fremont, is serving $9.99 steak and eggs (from midnight to 7 a.m. daily) and a $7.99 foot-long hot dog and 12-ounce drink combo, through summer.

Lotus of Siam, 620 E. Flamingo Road, is offering $4 sake, $5 draft beer, $6 wine by the glass, $7 small plates (crisp rice lettuce wraps, crisp papaya salad, steak tartare cups, and chicken, pork or beef skewers), $8 cocktails, from 3 to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Más Por Favor, 3879 Spring Mountain Road, has $3 draft beers, margaritas, shots, house cocktails, street tacos, and chips and guacamole, along with $3 to $7 selected bites, $8 specialty cocktails, and $20 sangria or margarita pitchers, 3 to 6 p.m. daily.

Miami Grill, 2310 E. Serene Ave., inside Walmart, has a chicken Caesar salad or chicken Caesar pita for $5.99, through July 19.

Ninety 90 Bar & Grill, in the Suncoast, is offering 10-ounce roasted prime rib with garlic Yukon gold mashed potatoes, sautéed asparagus, cream of horseradish and jus, for $28.99, on Mondays through summer.

Park on Fremont, 506 Fremont St., during its Gnome Hour, features a classic burger with bartender’s choice of draft beer for $15, as well as $5 selected drafts, $7 well drinks and house wines, and $9 cocktails of the day, from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays and 4 to 6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.

PT’s Taverns, with multiple locations, is offering 50 percent off pints of craft and imported beers starting at $3, wines by the glass starting at $3.75, and spirits such as Jack Daniels, Jameson, Patrón and Casamigos starting at $4, plus fries with custom seasonings and sauces starting at $4.99, double smash burger with fries for $5.99, personal pepperoni pizzas for $5.99, and carne asada cheese bites for $6.99, from 5 to 7 p.m. and midnight to 2 a.m. daily.

SMKD BBQ, 10895 S. Eastern Ave., Henderson, is serving a French dip sandwich with choice of any side and choice of any Coca-Cola or Miller Lite product, for $19.97, through summer.

Summer House, in Durango, is offering its Triple B Happy Hour special consisting of a wagyu cheeseburger, local beer and brownie, for $12, or the wagyu cheeseburger for $5 or $7 with bacon, from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday in the bar area only, at least through June.

On the Strip

Cabo Wabo Cantina, in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, is offering $5 tacos (freshly grilled chicken, steak or carnitas, with toppings) from the taco cart, $5 house margaritas and $5 rotating tequila shots, from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays on the terrace.

Chi Asian Kitchen, in The Strat, presents its Dumplings After Dark menu of $10 shareable dishes such as pork and shrimp spicy Sichuan dumplings, pork belly bao, mini house fried rice, mini kung pao chicken noodles, and sweet-and-sour pork ribs, along with $7 sake bombs, $8.88 wines by the glass and $10 cocktails, from 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Copper Sun, in Resorts World, is serving 15 cocktails and zero-proof beverages, including a Paloma Sunset (cinnamon-infused mezcal, grapefruit soda, lime juice) and a Salty Peach (white peach purée, grapefruit soda), for $6 to $12.50 (range represents 50 percent off pricing), from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays in the bar and lounge.

F1 Arcade, in the Forum Shops at Caesars, is offering 50 percent off selected dishes such as gochujang cauliflower wings, Caprese flatbread, tandoor chicken tacos, pulled brisket tacos, dry-aged flat iron steak and hazelnut chocolate calzone, and 50 percent off selected seltzers, draft beer, house red and white wine by the glass, well liquor with mixers and signature cocktail pitchers, for Nevada residents with valid ID (up to four customers per ID), from 5 p.m. to close Mondays through Thursdays and 1 p.m. to close Fridays through Sundays, through Aug. 30.

Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen, in the Horseshoe, features an all-you-can-enjoy brunch with seven choices, including brisket mac and cheese and brioche French toast with banana custard and smoked bacon, for $24.99, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Snack Nook, in the Casino Royale, sells foot-long beef hot dogs for $3.99, with dogs in other styles from $2.79 to $6.29. Extra toppings such as relish, onions and nacho cheese sauce range from 99 cents to $1.49.
