The Maui Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Wailuku man who may be vulnerable and at risk.
Edward Kailipalauli, 32, was reported missing by a family member Saturday. He was last seen at about 6:10 p.m. at his Wailuku residence, according to police.
Kailipalauli is described as Native Hawaiian, 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 140 pounds, with distinctive rainbow-colored hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray shorts, no shirt and carrying a red-and-white backpack.
Police said Kailipalauli does not have a vehicle or cell phone, and his family is concerned for his safety and well-being.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Maui police’s nonemergency line at 808-244-6400. In an emergency, call 911 and reference report No. 26-016121.
