I love it! The irony of President Trump’s quote about the alleged “vandalism” of the Reflecting Pool is too rich to ignore: “Who would do such a thing? These are very serious crimes having to do with the destruction of National Monuments (sic). Years in jail!” (June 22 Associated Press report,“Trump tries to blame Reflecting Pool woes on vandalism, without offering substantiation.”)
To which I respond: “Attempting to overthrow the government, repeatedly lying about ‘voter fraud,’ a ‘stolen election,’ calling upon one’s followers to desecrate the United States Capitol, and then threatening to hang Vice President Pence and hunt down Speaker Pelosi …Who would do such a thing? Years in jail!”
