Police seek second suspect after Mokuleia robbery arrest

Honolulu police are searching for a second suspect after arresting one man in connection with an attempted robbery in Mokuleia last week.

According to police, District 2 patrol officers responded to a robbery at about 9 p.m. June 26 in the Mokuleia area.

Investigators said the victim was outside when he was approached by two men. One suspect allegedly assaulted the victim while the second brandished a handgun. The pair attempted to steal the victim’s property but fled before officers arrived. The victim suffered a minor injury and declined medical treatment.

Police announced Wednesday that one suspect, Urlike Costorio, was arrested June 30 on suspicion of first-degree robbery. Charges are pending.

Investigators have identified the second suspect as Bryson Noa-Halemano, who remains at large.
