My wife and I have been visiting Maine, leaf peeking, for 22 years. We spend a great deal of money and eat lots of lobster. Red’s Eats in Wiscasset and Harraseeket Lunch & Lobster in Freeport are among our favorites.
This year we rented a cottage near Harraseeket, as it is short drive to L.L. Bean. However, when I learned that, according to polling, almost 50% of the good folks of Maine said they would support Graham Platner for Senate, I canceled my reservations.
What an absolutely poor choice, and I don’t need to spend money in a state that supports a person of such poor character.
